Songs in the Dream Key of Life -or- Blowing in the Wind

"How many roads must a man walk down, before you call him a man?"

How often do you have a tune that you can't get out of your head? Music has been part of my dreamscape since I started writing down my dreams. One of the first songs that formed part of the soundtrack of my dreams was, "Blowing in the Windby Bob Dylan. Others have reported having dreams about songs. Paul McCartney reported that the melody for the song "Yesterday"  came to him in a dream. "The Devil's Trill Sonata" came to Giuseppi Tartini in a dream. Many dreams received by the International Institute for Dream Research contain popular music. The IIDR article "Music Videos and Dreams of Love", features the poetic expression of feelings and themes through song. Stevie Wonder's "Songs in the Key of Life" provides a lyrical background for all soundtracks of the musical paths and dramatic roads of everyday life and living.
